Dante having fun with lil bro and falls

Okay so this video was starting out cute cause Big Bro Dante wanted to make Devan laugh. Well..instead he made Mommy laugh. Just so you know, Dante is fine and he didn't get hurt. Watch for the end of the video. Hilarious!! LOL! I wish I had more of his fall at the end cause I would totally send it to Funniest Home Videos.

Devan 9 months!

Devan and his football

Devan and his Papa

Happy Devan is 9 months already! wow wow wow!!!

He's doing a lot of babbling and trying to repeat sounds. I swear he already knows how to say, thank you, daddy, brother and hi. Really he's repeating the sounds of our voice and it sounds just like it!! Hmmm..at 8 months he loved to bang on the tables when I would say clap and raise his arm up to wave..so you can say he was getting started to use his body to express himself.

This week, he learned how to clap and now it's nonstop! It's the cutest thing ever and I always smile. You can never get tired of the simple joys of babies and their growing stages. He loves playing with Dante and they both blow rasberries at each other. Devan is waving hello and giving open mouth kisses.

He hasn't shown any sign of standing on his own. He tried it before, but he's still not interested. I thought at first when he started crawling at a young age then that would mean he may walk early too. I'm thinking he may walk around 11 months the very earliest...which is still early I know.

He can now eat broken up cheerios and yummy gerber puffs..his favorite! I might just have to stuff his stocking this year with those two items and he'll be so happy what I brought him! Opps! I mean Santa ;)

Happy 9 months, Devan!!

Dante wants to make a Birdhouse!

Dante wanted to make a birdhouse for outside. I looked online and found a simple preschool craft to make a birdfeeder. Birdhouse...Birdfeeder...same thing. He had a lot of fun doing it and we will make another one soon! Here is a step-by-step of what we did to complete our "birdhouse/birdfeeder" project. :)

First, you clean out the 1gal jug.

Draw 2 windows for you to cut out and color around it (use a sharpie so it will stay on)

Cut out windows big enough for a bird to go inside.

Add birdseed on the bottom. You can also cut out holes to add a stick for the bird to hang out in. I suggest making holes lower than we have here so the bird can stand on it easier. Next, you will tie the string on top of the jug and place the cap back on.

Here is the finished project of Dante's Birdhouse/Birdfeeder!
Good job, Dante!!

Fun photo comparison

Today, I put an outfit on Devan for the first time and I remember Dante wearing it too around the same age so I tried to take a picture to compare. I wanted to have Devan look up at me the same way but you know how that is. This is as close as I can get. :)
